Champion health and safety leadership in Alingsås: Facilitate performance and foster a safety culture 
We offer an unique opportunity to take lead in execution of local implementation and roll-out of global HSE tools, standards and systems in a company that have safety as their prime focus in daily operatioBeing an Health and Safety (HS) Specialist in Alingsås entails a great influence and responsibility. You will lead efforts to improve the business performance in relation to HS and support with in-depth knowledge of laws, requirements and ISO standards. Consequently, also follow-up and report on KPI’s for the site, requesting necessary information to fulfil these assignments and support and inform managers regarding HS issues. You will be the contact person for incident reporting in accordance with NKT global HSE Program for Incidents reporting and investigation.ns!


In more detail, some of your daily tasks will include the following:
* Analyze the statistics regarding work environmental accidents, incidents and illnesses.  
* Point of contact with work environmental authorities.  
* Ensure the OHS steering covers all employees and contractors.  
* Perform yearly assessment of the work environmental performance (SAM).  
* Propose, prepare and perform common educations to keep and raise HSE conscious culture
* Execute local implementation/ roll-out of Global HSE tools, standards and systems.  
* Support the organization in incident reporting in the IA system as IA Specialist
* Maintain the list of laws and binding requirements related to work environment. Support the business with information, interpretation, advise and solutions to ensure legal compliance
* Coordinate the fire safety management

In this role, you'll:
Develop the electrical safety work and follow up on electrical safety measures based on the results of risk assessments and safety inspection rounds as well as 
providing support on electrical test issues and lead testing investigations during breakdowns and PD measuers. 
You will also be in charge of the development and implementation of new working routines, working closely with the Manager for Testing and the Electrical proprietor at the site. 

Requirements;
* Several years of professional experience in a senior position within a complex technical environment, ideally in the cable or accessories market.
* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
* Proven experience in ISO 17025.
* Competency in SAP ERP system (MM, PP, WM, and SD).

The main purpose is to proactively manage the  HV accessories product portfolio s from product launches to  growth initiatives and from product optimization activities to outphasing of long tail products. Strategy - delivery - release - follow up.

Essential responsibilities include:
•    Establishes strong link/ relationship to relevant stakeholders
•    In-depth understanding of market requirements and competitive ituation, 
     Gathers input and derives product optimization initiatives
•    Develops business cases to ensure right prioritization and opportunity to track business impact of launched products/initiatives

•    Maintains product and component data – provide customer-facing product data


Commercial and technical understanding with project management skills

Semestervikarier -2024 Maskinoperatörer på NKT i Alingsås
Är du taggad för en spännande utmaning i sommar? Är du noggrann, har en god samarbetsförmåga och vill arbeta i en industriell miljö och samla nya erfarenheter? Vi söker nu maskinoperatörer för att stärka upp våra team under sommaren. 

I rollen som maskinoperatör kommer du att arbeta i produktion med tillverkning av gummidelar.
Det dagliga arbetet innebär bland annat att övervaka processer på olika maskiner, se till att produktionen flödar och utföra kvalitetskontroller. Vi söker dig som är van att ta ansvar för ditt arbete, ger hög närvaro på jobbet och har förmåga att ta initiativ.
Du kommer att arbeta heltid och förväntas kunna arbeta största delen av semesterveckorna från vecka 24 fram till och med
vecka 34. En fördel är om du har möjlighet att påbörja upplärning vid enstaka tillfällen under eftermiddag och kväll/helg under maj månad. Arbetstiden under semesterperioden förskjuts till 2 skift, 06.00-14.00 och 13.54-21.54.

Provide technical service in order to keep our promises to our customers

We are looking for a Technical Service Specialist to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will provide technical support to our sales and customer service team, and support our Order process with product adaptations. You will be responsible for providing BOM clarifications, technical information during the tender and offer phase, and for providing support in complex technical questions, not provided in product configurators. 

Primary Tasks
Provide BOM clarifications to our customers orders using product configurators
* Use and develop tools for efficiency, such as product configurators
* Support with technical information during tender and offer phase
* Support Claim management in cooperation with the Quality Department
* Co-ordinate the necessary input for Engineering for product adaptions outside Technical Service area

Contribute to some of our times biggest projects within renewable energy

In this role, you will take lead in trainings for High Voltage DC Accessories in the area of commercial and tender projects. This includes internal and external trainings, as well as providing support during type tests installation and trial installation. You will work closely with the engineering, quality and sales team to pass on relevant information and support in claim investigations in order to make improvements to the products and instructions. In more detail, your daily tasks will include the following:

•    Provide training for jointers
•    Prepare cable loops and support in the execution of relevant tests
•    Work with continuous improvement within the product portfolio – provide knowledge from training and installations
•    Installation and supervision of type tests

You will be travelling approximately 90 days per year domestic and international, to other sites within NKT and for trainings on-site in the field.

Being an Health and Safety (HS) Specialist in Alingsås entails a great influence and responsibility. You will lead efforts to improve the business performance in relation to HS and support with in-depth knowledge of laws, requirements and ISO standards. You will be part of the Site Production Team in Alingsås and be responsible for the output of your shift, and also the resources on one of the day shifts. Drive development projects with a grounded attitude

As a Project Manager at NKT you will manage the development of HVAC and HVDC accessories. You will be leading the project team allocated to the project, allocating project tasks, motivating and monitoring resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones. You are responsible for successful execution and delivery of assigned projects on-time, within budget, as per Contract Agreement with high focus on our quality and safety framework. You will monitor and control the project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow. In this role you will also act as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.

Besides the above your primary tasks will be: 
•    Drive and support communication between functional line organization and project organization
•    Projects status reporting
•    Production planning of prototypes
•    Development and qualification test planning according to national, international and customer standards
•    Provide support to operations for the control of the quality of the products
•    Lead improvement projects related to extension of R&D capabilities

You will be located in Alingsås and join a tech-community with extensive knowledge and experience in material, design, simulation, and testing of cable terminations and joints and report to the VP of R&D. Because of the global set-up you will be travelling to other sites occasionally, estimated 10-20 days per year, domestic and international.

As part of the Customer Commercial Service team, your main responsibility will be to handle orders and coordinate relevant tasks with the relevant departments. In the roles as interim manager for the intercompany and offer department you are responsible for a group of 4 people. The role is both strategic and operative. The role is interim to fill a temporary vacancy due to parental leave. Your main tasks on the strategic side are:
* Personnel development
* Economical aspects in terms of tender and offering (internally and externally) along with the sales department
* Strategic development of the department
* Follow up on and drive department goals
General administration related to a manager position.

The team is mainly based out of the production site in Alingsås, but you also have one employee based out of India.
We operate on international market and span the entire globe.
Your main tasks on the operative side are:
* Tendering multimillion electrical transmission projects along with the tender and offer specialist and our intercompany stakeholders
* Drive the everyday intercompany business with offers and general questions
* Assist the offer team on external customers
Maintenance and development of the CRM system.

You are expected to work from the Alingsås production site at least 4 days a week.

Key Account Manager for Intercompany Business
As an expansion of the intercompany group, after you have finished the time as Interim Manager for the Intercompany and Offer Department you will continue working with the intercompany business as a Key Account Manager for the Intercompany Business
In this role you will be responsible for
* Maintaining and developing new business processes in the intercompany business to optimize the intercompany business strategy.
* Margins and profit levels on intercompany business.
* Tendering multimillion electrical transmission projects along with the tender and offer specialist and our intercompany stakeholders
* Maintaining and updating internal pricelist and price structures towards intercompany customers.
* Handling everyday requests and tasks related to intercompany offer business.


Qualifications
* Master’s degree within business administration and economics or multiyear equivalent working experience
* 5 years working experience with sales, preferably intercompany sales in a production company.
* Previous experience in leading others

Design and Develop for the future – you will be our key to success 

As a Design Engineer you will take part in the development and adaptation of our product portfolio. •    B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
•    No more than 3 years of professional experience within your field of study.
•    Knowledge of CAD as Solid Works or similar CAD system, of PLM Windchill or other PLM system and MS Office.

You will be located in Alingsås and report to the manager for Applied Engineering. Because of the global set-up you will be travelling to other sites occasionally, estimated 10-20 days per year, domestic and international.

Underhållsingenjören ansvarar för att maskinerna inom produktionsområdet är ändamålsenliga med maximal tillgänglighet och till en lägsta kostnad.
Som vår underhållsingenjör gör du analyser av repetitiva utrustningsfel, uppskattar underhållskostnader och prognostisera reservdelar, samtidigt som du bedömer behoven för utbyte av utrustning. I rollen ingår också att bedöma och rapportera alla fynd om möjliga säkerhetsrisker under underhåll.

We are looking for an experienced, positive and enthusiastic Material Engineer who can contribute in driving our key development projects going forward!

The position as a Material Specialist in R&D is a broad role since the development projects handle many aspects (such as research, design, material, environmental, installation) of our products. Since NKT has the ambition to renew and trim existing product portfolios, we are now looking to strenghten the team in R&D and development of cable accessories.

Experience within material properties and characterization  
As part of the R&D team You will participate in various cable accessories related R&D projects and assignments that differs in scope and length. 

The team consists of six persons that works in Alingsås and collaborates with other R&D-teams within NKT. A great deal of interactions with other sites is a normal day to day way of work. 

Other parts of the role:
•    Taking a leading role with regards to material related questions. Specific in the field of Elastomers (EPDM, Silicone), composites and metallics.
•    To perform lab compounding and corresponding material testing. 
•    To be advising and give support to colleagues and internal customers. 
•    To handle material aspects in patents, university collaborations and similar.
•    To act as a generator for ideas in both ongoing projects and in strategic discussions.

To perform the tasks requires structure mixed with personal qualities such as be able to work independently, having a strong willingness to change and act effortless between different functions and production sites. Shaping tomorrows priorities
The role plays an active part in shaping tomorrow’s priorities in Alingsås plant. 
The role is very hands-on and ensures relevant support to reach the overall business strategy for Alingsås plant through financial insights, support on high impact initiatives and prioritization, in addition to active performance management.

The role
As a Project Manager at NKT you will be responsible for managing the continuous growth of the company by driving different kind of projects, from planning to execution, and ensure maintaining world class quality and support, both locally and globally. Your clients are internal NKT and are Product Owners for the cable accessories and for the complete cable system. You will work close with many stakeholders in different projects. Your primary tasks will include:

Main tasks
* Project resource planning, including budget allocation and set-up of time plans for projects under management.

* Occasionally elaboration of business cases for own initiatives to improve HVDC
* Single point contact for coordination between different players along the value chain of the project
* Closely collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of projects
* Provide and update tools, such as delivery plans
* Manage risk analysis and mitigation plan.
* Support with technical information during tender offer and execution phase
* Claim management (in case of failure of product) When needed, support claim in collaboration with quality department and solve with customer directly

* Identify KPIs.

Your profile and qualifications
* You have preferably a Bachelor or MSc. Degree in a technical discipline; preferably electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry or physics
* Solid project management, development and engineering background, ideally in manufacturing/process industry environment
* Experience from working and leading cross functional teams
* Fluently in English and Swedish is a requirement, knowledge in German is a merit.
* You master MS office, Powerpoint and Excel
* Experience from SAP, MS Project and Windchill is meritorious.

Building and developing long-term relationships  
As Regional Sales Manager and Technical Support you are responsible for the sales and technical support of cable accessories, i.e. joints and terminations for medium and high voltage cable systems. You will be part of a team focusing on sales and support of Cable Accessories, your territory covers Eastern Europe. 
Customers are mainly state and municipal power companies, wholesalers, and contractors. NKT in Alingsås continues to expand and the HR department is now looking for a colleague to be part of the journey and support managers and leaders in various HR-related topics.

In the role of HR Coordinator, you work with a wide range of HR administration and supporting in process-improvements. You will be an important key player in our HR-team with many contact points.

Support the organization with coordination, recruitment and HR administration
Your main tasks are to administer and coordinate within the HR field;  HR processes, communication, reporting and run recruitment processes. Part of your work will also include booking and coordinating local events.
You will be linked to the Swedish HR team but are located locally in Alingsås.

Tasks:
•    Support managers and employees within the organization in matters concerning HR databases, contract  management, rehabilitation, on and offboarding etc.
•    Recruitment
•    Administration linked to our new employees and external consultants, i.e. health examinations, agreements, employment contracts, updating databases internally
•    Generate various reports
•    Super-user in our internal HR system 
•    Local administration

Service-oriented and driven coordinator
In your work, you have many contact points both internally and externally. You have excellent  collaboration skills and can easily communicate with different people at different levels and you are motivated by, and enjoy supporting others. You are driven and independent and take great responsibility for your tasks. It is easy for you to orientate yourself and work in a system- and process-oriented way, as the role involves a lot of work in our various systems.
You are a star on Excel and it is a plus if you previously worked in SAP.

Supply chain gruppen söker en Supply Chain Coordinator som under några månader kan stötta våra produktionsplanerare och operativt inköp med administrativa och koordinerande arbetsuppgifter, så att vi säkerställer att materialet finns på plats i vårt lager då det behövs.

I arbetsuppgifterna ingår det bland annat att:
• Följa upp icke ordererkända inköpsorder
• Följa upp icke levererade order
• Gå igenom materiallistor för att säkerställa att material är beställt.
• Koordinera materialbehov mellan vår produktionsanläggning och våra olika lager
• Beställa material från vårt externlager

Kommunikativ med erfarenhet av material- eller produktionsplanering
För att passa i rollen tror vi att du har SAP vana, tidigare erfarenhet av material- eller produktionsplanering och att du är noggrann. Du är van att vara spindeln i nätet och att kunna prioritera mellan olika arbetsuppgifter. Eftersom du kommer att ha många olika kontaktytor både internt men även externt med tex leverantörer och andra partners, behöver du kunna hantera flera uppgifter samtidigt samt ha en god kommunikationsförmåga.
Det är också nödvändigt att du obehindrat kan kommunicera på engelska både tal och skrift.
Startdatum är omgående och planerad längd på uddpraget är sex månader.

Do you thrive in dynamic, high-tech environment, where you play a key role satisfying customer needs? 
If you have some years´ of experience of customer support and service and are keen on a new challenge in a global and growing company - we might have the ideal opportunity for you! This is a initially a temporary position, planned until the end of the year. Start date will be as soon as agreed.
Working closely with our international customers, we develop, manufacture and install efficient and technologically advanced medium and high-voltage cables as well as cable accessories, playing a significant role in the green transformation.  
Supporting customers and internal sales team
The Customer Commercial Service team consists of five people that together have the overall responsibility of supporting sales with the offer-to-cash process giving service and support to our customers within the Accessories business line in Alingsås. We are in an expanding phase and are now searching for service-minded individuals to jour our team.
As Customer Commercial Service you are the first point of contact to our customers, handling all customer inquiries - mainly via email and phone. You will calculate and create offers based on inquiries, independently from our product catalogue and with input from our sales and technical teams. Your daily work includes collaboration and communication not only with external clients but with multi-disciplinary functions internally.

Your primary tasks will be: 
•    Supporting internal sales team and our customers
•    Be a key inter-company support function for other NKT sites and business lines; handle inter-company      inquiries, offers and internal orders
•    Handle interface tasks between customers and other functions in the company
•    Various sales process related tasks such as for example handling of claims and following up overdues
•    Take part in separate projects representing the Customer Commercial Service team if needed
•    Check commercial & delivery terms
•    Maintain pricelists 
You will be a part of a highly skilled and tight team on our site in Alingsås working closely together in an open and straight-forward climate.

Service minded team player
To be successful in this role you have an open mindset, are good at prioritizing and have the ability to quickly get an overview of tasks to be handled and make your own priorities in line with the company strategy. You take great accountability for your work tasks and are structured, meticulous and thorough. Another key is of course to have a great sense of service mind and customer focus as well as being a reliable team player. Proficient communication and collaboration skills are other important parts to fit in this role.
In addition to the above you have some years’ experience from offer creation processes and customer support, preferably with export customers. You have a high understanding of the sales process cycle, are comfortable with commercial terms as well as with Incoterms and have knowledge around price structures, margins and profit & loss.

Additionally, your CV comprises: 
•    Experience from ERP system, SAP experience is beneficial 
•    Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English
•    German is very meritorious
