As a Project Manager at the Accessories Site in Alingsås, you are the overall contact person for the projects and will drive the project from a defined scope to the assessment and evaluation of the results of the project. To ensure an outcome in line with the company strategies and forecasts you will regularly monitor and report on progress to relevant stakeholders and ensure good cooperation between divisions and different NKT sites. In more detail, your tasks will include the following...

•    Support, delegate amongst, and direct the team
•    Create schedules and project timelines
•    Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
•    Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
•    Write technical reports
•    Support and direct quality ensurance

Work tasks


* Design of PCBA’s with various functions such as controllers and connection boards
* Maintenance of existing PCBA’s, including improvements and component reviews and documentation
* Create and maintain firmwares for PCBA’s and softwares (user interfaces) in C, C++
* Select components to meet electrical and environmental requirements while embodying the most cost effective solutions possible
* Make electrical component selection and create schematics for cooling units and assemblies
* Creating documentation and drawings needed for sourcing, manufacturing and certification
* Work directly with customers, sales managers, project managers and internal teams to identify customer requirements
* Coordinate and participate in prototype and pilot production runs to mature the design of components and assemblies and meet customer needs
* Perform risk assessment for electrical safety compliance international standards (experience in 61010 is meritorious)
* Contribute to the launch of new programs with the various affected global manufacturing facilities
* Support production sites regarding quality issuess, root cause finding and alternative component investigations
* Participate in EMC testing

In order to succeed in this position, we are looking for a person who is a team player and have the knowledge to participate in a team as an expert in the field, as well as it is important that you have the ability to work independently. You have a curious attitude to new challenges and a can-do mindset. In addition to that we are also looking for a person with:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline
- Previous experience of electrical engineering in design of machines and drawings of circuit diagram
- Experience of PCBA design tools and in evaluating PCBA’s according to IPC
- Skilled in Altium Designer or other common PCBA design tool
- Experience working with and have interest in testing, prototype building and configuration of temperature controllers
- Previously been working with compliance related work within 61010, safety and EMC standards and testing
- Personal computer skills such as Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Design and Develop for the future

You will be joining a tech-community with extensive knowledge and experience in material, design, simulation, and testing of cable terminations and joints. Except for designing technical solutions that meet the customer requirements in collaboration with R&D engineers, specialist and test facilities globally, your role will also involve performing and evaluating electrical and mechanical simulations, participate in development and qualification tests and develop quality control plans. 
Your role will also involve..
•    Be design responsible throughout the R&D projects
•    Conceptual work in 3D CAD
•    Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA)
•    Design verification – both simulation and test plan creation
•    Produce final designs and drawings

Vi letar efter dig som vill arbeta som uppdragsledare och delar vår syn på utvecklingen och som med ditt specialistkunnande vill dela med dig till kunder och kollegor för att öka värdet av det vi levererar. Du kommer att ingå i en projektgrupp som består av såväl juniora som seniora konsulter. . Vårt arbetsklimat präglas av teamwork och framåtanda. Sektionen drivs av att leverera, såväl stora som små projekt, med hög kvalitet till våra kunder. Vi arbetar i en positiv och stimulerande miljö där det ständigt pågår utbyte av erfarenheter.
Som del i ett stort konsultföretag har vi möjlighet att arbeta smart och få med bred kunskap inom alla installationstekniska områden - vad projektet än kräver kan vi hjälpas åt och lösa det!
Som uppdragsledare på ÅF innebär det att du tillsammans med erfarna kollegor kommer ansvara för att leda uppdrag i sin helhet vad gäller utförande, kvalitet, resursplanering, tider och ekonomi. Handledning och upplärning av juniora konsulter ingår som en naturlig del i ditt arbete.

Vem är du?

Du jobbar sedan några år som uppdragsledare och/eller konstruktör. Är du uppdragsledare har du erfarenhet av att självständigt driva och ansvara för projekteringsuppdrag. Troligtvis jobbar du idag på ett teknikintensivt bolag som konsult, beställare, entreprenör eller motsvarande. Utbildningsmässigt ser vi att du har en teoretisk utbildning som bakgrund, det kan vara en ingenjörsutbildning från universitetet/högskola eller YH-utbildning.
Som person värdesätter vi egenskaper som självgående, initiativtagande och effektiv. Du ser samarbete som en förutsättning för att nå resultat. Vidare tror vi att du trivs i en dynamisk och fartfylld miljö som präglas av stark tillväxt. Du gillar utmaningar och har en naturlig fallenhet för att skapa långa och hållbara relationer med kollegor och kunder. Problemlösning är för dig en naturlig del i jobbet och du deltar gärna i tekniska diskussioner i uppdragen. Vi lägger stor vikt vid personlig lämplighet.
