Climbers wanted in Sweden: Arborist Job Summary
SLB forestry is looking for skilled Arborists with climbing certifications and experience to work across Sweden. The main work will be completed in teams working on railway safety projects in various parts of Sweden. Some locations include Eskilstuna (subcontractor), Värmland (employee), Vänersborg (employee) and Lidkoping (employee), but location may vary. Work is mostly dismantling and felling trees alongside harvester machines to create a safe environment for the railway. Minimum contract of 6 months with possibility of extending.
Arborist Duties and Responsibilities
Fulfill climbing, felling, ground, and aerial lift duties
Perform tree risk assessments
Look for common signs of disease or pest infestations
Inspect and maintain equipment
Follow all safety procedures
Work well in a team dynamic

Arborist Requirements and Qualifications
EU citizen preferred
Certification Nptc cs30, cs31, cs38, cs39 or equivalent (Felling, aerial rescue, climbing with chainsaw)
Minimum of 2 years experience since gaining qualifications
Valid CPR and first aid certificate
Must be fluent in English or Swedish
Valid driver’s license prefer


Reward
Payment depends on experience and if you have your own equipment or need to borrow 180-200 SEK/hr ~18-20€ full time. Accommodation is available for employees
The above price is for employees who have their accommodation, insurance and some equipment covered by the company. If people are interested in being a subcontractor and therefore file their own work permits, get necessary insurances to work in Sweden, pay the necessary taxes on their own, find and pay for their own accommodation and provide all their own equipment we can pay as much as 450 SEK an hour depending on experience.
