Cable distribution cabinets is a product group within ABB’s Electrification Business Unit that develops, promotes and sells enclosures, fusegears and cable connectors which are a vital part of the low voltage distribution network. The products are mainly sold via wholesalers and OEMs in the Nordic countries, primarily to utilities, industrial and commercial building companies via ABB local sales organizations.

Your responsibilities
Accountable for that production processes complies with internal and external requirements.
Evaluate new process technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost reduction.
Evaluate manufacturability of existing and new products.
Accountable for appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials in support of production targets.
Identify, recommend and implement improvement opportunities.
Drive and support practical problem solving in daily production to improve safety, quality and cost aspects.

Your background
A bachelor´s or master's degree in engineering.
>3 years experience in production or industrial engineering, whereas other industrial experience is also beneficial.
Experience in digitalization and automation is highly qualifying.
Knowledge in SAP, PTC Windchill, CAD is desirable but not a requirement.
You have a problem-solving oriented and structured mindset.
You are a true team player.
Collaborative and strong communication skills, as projects and problem solving will be handled cross-functional in the organization.
Strong commitment to contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Your responsibilities
Assembling and analyzing all data pertinent to creating a production plan, using capacity planning and linking it to the demand plan.
Providing input to finance on operating plans for the sales and operations planning (S&OP;) process, concerning incoming volume and capacity.
Maintaining planning parameters in ERP.
Preparing demand and supply scenarios, analyzing the risks associated, and recommending both short- and long-term solutions and mitigation plan to remove bottlenecks.
Performing standard and ad hoc detailed analyses for planning & fulfillment metrics (forecast & production plan accuracy, resource utilization). Identifying key root causes for non-performance and driving improvement initiatives.
Monitoring customer OTD and LT.

Your background
A Bachelor’s degree – economic or technical.
Previous experience on similar position will be considered as an advantage.
Good level of written and verbal communication in English and Swedish.
Advanced knowledge of Excel.
Analytical thinking, communication and organizing skills.
Experience with ERP system (preferably SAP) will be considered as an advantage.
Experience and/or certificate in lean manufacturing is a huge asset.
